Debit Card Alerts
When it comes to money these days, it pays to stay alert! Debit Card Alerts can act as an early-warning system of possible fraudulent transactions.
When you sign up for Debit Card Text Alerts, you will be notified within moments of a transaction taking place making it easy to monitor your accounts. If fraudulent activity ever takes place, you can act quickly to protect yourself and minimize potential fraud.
Types of Text Alerts:
Funds removed: A text alert is sent when a debit transaction is processed using your debit card such as an ATM withdrawal or debit card purchase.
Signature transactions: A text alert is sent when you do not use your PIN for a transaction using your debit card. This occurs when you select the "Credit" option on the terminal or sign a receipt.
Card status change: A text alert will be triggered if the card status is changed such as activation, temporary suspension, not activated or closed.
Suspected fraud: If activity on your card suggests possible fraud a text alert will be sent to you.
International transaction: an alert will be triggered when a debit transaction is initiated from somewhere other than the United States.
You may choose to have text alerts by text message or email. With text messaging, standard wireless text charges may apply.

If your phone is lost or stolen, sign on to Online Banking and disable your phone from Mobile Banking, or call Customer Service at (863) 494-2220 for assistance. If you are concerned about misuse of your phone, contact your mobile service provider immediately to stop all wireless service. 1 First State Bank does not charge for Mobile Banking. However, your cell phone provider may charge additional fees for web browsing and/or text messages. In order to use First State Bank’s Mobile Web Banking, the browser on your mobile device must be capable of storing cookies.
2 For Cash Fund Accounts: No more than six (6) transfers and/ or withdrawals allowed monthly or statement cycle from your account by preauthorized or automatic transfers, or telephonic (including data transmissions) agreement, order of instruction, or by check, draft, debit card made by you and made payable to third parties. Transfers and withdrawals made in person at our locations by mail, messenger, or telephone (via check mailed to you) or at an ATM are unlimited. There is a $10 per item excessive withdrawal fee if over limit.
3 For Savings Accounts: No more than six (6) transfers and/ or withdrawals allowed monthly or statement cycle from your account by preauthorized or automatic transfers, or telephonic (including data transmissions) agreement, order of instruction, or by check, draft, debit card made by you and made payable to third parties. Transfers and withdrawals made in person at our locations by mail, messenger, or telephone (via check mailed to you) or at an ATM are unlimited. Two withdrawals per month, $3 for each additional withdrawal.
